Super High Resolution Readout
Our specialized electronics can greatly improve the image
resolution from a sensor.

About this image: Both images were acquired using the same Hamamatsu H8500 PSPMT
coupled to a 21 x 21 array of 2x2mm NaI(Tl) crystals with a crystal pitch of 2.2mm
irradiated by Co57.
A gain equalization/converter board was used to convert the 64 pad readout of
the PSPMT to an 8x8 x-y readout. The left image was then acquired using
a linearized charge division readout producing +/-X and +/-Y outputs.
The right image was acquired using our Super High Resolution Readout (SHaRRp)
electronics also producing +/-X and +/-Y outputs. Our electronics produce much
sharper images by using a realtime analog negative feedback mechanism to greatly
reduce noise. SHaRRp electronics can be taylored to any multianode sensor to
create great images using fewer readout channels.
